Amy is a trainwreck. As a child, her father told Amy and her sister to repeat ?Monogamy isn't realistic.? several times right after announcing that he and their mother were getting a divorce. Years later, Amy has a fantastic writing job at a men's magazine, but she's a drunken, one-night-stand party girl who experiences no lasting joy. On the other hand, her sister has a stable, happy marriage and child. After Amy's editor assigns her the task of interviewing sports doctor Aaron Connors, she is taken with his charm and begins to realize that maybe monogamy is realistic after all.
