The early days of Queen Elizabeth II's reign were the starting point of a legendary monarchy. At the time, though, she was just a young woman who had grown up not expecting to ever be queen. Her relationship with legendary prime minister Winston Churchill was a particularly interesting aspect of her coming of age as queen. In this graceful young woman lie the seeds of the imposing monarch who still occupies the Buckingham Palace throne.
