In a compelling drama, a young Jewish violin prodigy goes missing on the eve of his first concert performance. Set in the era of World War II, the prodigy, Dovidl (Doyle), is brought to London by his father in hopes of finding a safe-haven. During his time in hiding, Dovidl befriends another young boy named Martin who lives in the home. Many years after Dovidl's disappearance on arguably the biggest night of his life, his dear friend Martin sets out to find him. Martin must travel the world and fight the disapproval of others to find out what happened to his best friend.
